Introduction
Example projects can be set up as DVT Predefined Projects. Let's say you want to add an existing training lab project as a Predefined Project.
Specify the Project Description in readme.txt
First, you should specify its description in the readme.txt
file. This description is presented whenever the Predefined Project is selected in the Predefined Projects list.
Define the DVT Predefined Projects EXT Labs
Environment Variable
Then, you need to define a DVT Predefined Projects EXT Labs
environment variable that points to the project's enclosing directory. In order to support multiple directories that contain Predefined Projects, DVT scans all the directories indicated by any environment variable whose name starts with DVT Predefined Projects EXT
.
Check the Availability of the Newly Added Predefined Project
And now you are done! Open DVT and check the availability of the newly added Predefined Project in DVT's Predefined Project Wizard. To see all the directories scanned for Predefined Projects, click on See all defined locations.
