Launching a Verissimo Linting Session from the DVT Eclipse IDE

To launch a Verissimo linting session from the DVT Eclipse IDE:

  1. Right-click on a project.
  2. Choose Lint With.
  3. Select one of the predefined rule sets:
    • UVM compliance rules
    • Basic UVM rules
    • All UVM rules

The project is built. Linting is performed, and the linting report is opened.

Using a Custom Ruleset

If you already have a ruleset file:

  1. Right-click on it.
  2. Choose Lint with Custom Ruleset.

Browsing the Checks and Failures

Click the Checks button to browse the checks and failures.

Double-click on a failure to go to source.
