Companion Skills are a lightweight, open format for extending AI agent capabilities with specialized knowledge and workflows. For a more in depth view, please refer to the official Agent Skills documentation.
You will be notified whenever DVT Companion Skills are updated or released. To configure this behavior:
Open VS Code Settings using Ctrl+, and check / uncheck
Open Eclipse Preferences using and check / uncheck
The following section lists all available DVT Agent Skills.
- dvt-mcp
Instructs agents on how to use the DVT MCP Server in an accurate and efficient manner. Contains common routines and recipes for navigating code, exploring designs, fixing compilation errors, debugging, and other common tasks.
- dvt-root-cause-analysis
Instructs agents on how to identify root causes of test failures by correlating simulation logs, waveform analysis and source code in an accurate and efficient manner.
- dvt-rtl-interconnect
Instructs agents on how to integrate multiple RTL sub-modules into a higher-level module by wiring up instances, connecting ports and generating the integration/glue logic.
